Model 800 – Semiautomatic Cold Seal Machine

The machine uses a web of cold-sealing material to seal the package. The Model 800 cold sealing system uses little power and requires no special ventilation or complicated electrical connections, making it economical to operate.

The Model 800 combines manual control with automation for smooth and fast packaging. These are used in a variety of ways, such as with cabling, screw kits and pre-assembled kits. It is easy to use in smaller production flows.

  • This machine uses a single roll of cold seal material to make the protective pouch.
  • The unit scores and folds the material so that the product can be placed in the crease of the web.
  • The sides are brought up and around the product and sealed above.
  • The end seals and length cutoff are done simultaneously in the sealing head of the system.
  • The system is available in 12″ (30,5 cm) and 18″ (45,7 cm) high models.
  • The maximum width through the machine is 3.5″. (8,9 cm)
  • Lengths up to 48″ (121,9 cm) can be run on a standard system.
  • Package sizes as narrow as 2” (5 cm) and as wide as 18″ (45,7 cm) can be packaged.
  • The machine uses pre-set length counters to regulate the package size.
  • Machine operation and setup are done through the touchscreen controller.
  • This allows the operator to make adjustments quickly and easily.
  • Modifications can be made to run excessive-length packages as well.
  • Manual or automatic feed with delivery rates of up to 40 units per minute.
  • Dial in length control system lets the operator vary package length in 1/10” (1/25,4 cm) increments for the utmost economy of material.
